FTE employment opportunities below: Mechanical Engineer - must demonstrate experience with the following: a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering; current Professional Engineer license; a minimum of 10 years’ experience as mechanical engineer on large complex multimillion dollar DoD construction projects reviewing submittals, contractor questions, RFIs, and construction inspection; experience with Resident Management System (RMS); and Microsoft Office experience. Telecommunication Specialist – Must have minimum 5 years’ experience with underground fiber and copper communication utility installation, inspection, and testing. Experience with military construction and the Unified Facilities Guide Specifications (UFGS) is favorable, but not a requirement. The Fiber Optic Association Certified Fiber Optic Technician (CFOT) certification or similar is favorable, but not a requirement. Building Envelope SME – Must have minimum 10 years’ experience with building envelope and air barrier construction and testing. Must demonstrate experience with reviewing testing procedures and test reports as well as experience with witnessing and evaluating air barrier efficacy. Experience with military construction and the UFGS is favorable, but not a requirement. Utility Coordinator - must demonstrate experience with the following: a minimum of 10 years’ experience as a utility coordinator on large complex multimillion dollar utility infrastructure projects reviewing design plans to note potential utility conflicts, maintain database of all correspondence with utilities, and facilitate meetings involving utility specific activities; experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D; and spatial modeling coordination and review utilizing Autodesk Navisworks or similar. Cost Estimator - Minimum of 5 years of experience in multimillion-dollar DOD projects. Must demonstrate experience with developing cost estimates based on scopes of work for post-award construction contract changes such as engineering or construction changes. Project Engineers - Must demonstrate a minimum 5 years of experience with the following: reviewing submittals, contractor questions, RFIs, construction schedules, construction deficiencies, project issues, requests for equitable adjustment, and claims; make written recommendations to the COR; compute time extensions; assist in preparing documents for change orders and claims; make technical interpretations of drawings and specifications; provide engineering determinations on meeting the contract requirements; make practicability determinations from a construction standpoint; and utilize Resident Management System (RMS). Electrical Engineer - must demonstrate experience with the following: current Professional Engineer license, a minimum of 10 years’ experience as electrical engineer on large complex multimillion dollar DoD construction projects, a Bachelor Degree in Engineering, experience with Resident Management System (RMS), and Microsoft Office experience. Construction Inspector Four (4) - The individual should have more than 5 years of experience as a construction inspector on large complex multimillion dollar DoD construction projects, and experience with USACE's 3-Phase QC/Inspection process, EM 385- 1-1 USACE Safety Manual, Microsoft Office, and RMS. This position may require frequent and recurring construction inspections, which includes walking, climbing, stooping and bending at various elevations and uneven terrain. Structural Engineer Two (2) - Must demonstrate experience with the following: current Professional Engineer license within the State of Florida, a minimum of 10 years’ experience as structural engineer on large complex multimillion dollar DoD construction projects, a Bachelor Degree in Engineering, demonstrated experience working with coastal projects and high wind loads, experience with Resident Management System (RMS), and Microsoft Office experience. Welding/Structural Steel Inspector (1) – Must have minimum 5 years’ experience with construction welding and/or structural steel erection inspections. International Code Council (ICC) and/or American Welding Society (AWS) certifications in structural steel or welding inspections.
