The Role

Are you an experienced Structural/ Civil Engineer, licensed PE in the state of Florida? Do 
you possess good, working knowledge of the structural load path? If so, we have an 
exciting opportunity for you.

We are an architectural and engineering company, looking to appoint a Structural/ Civil 
Engineer on a full-time, permanent basis in the role of Vice President of Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of a Structural/ Civil Engineer include, but are not limited to:

•Foundation design, wind load design, structural building design for residential, light 
commercial and industrial buildings at a full-service architectural and engineering 
office.

The Person

The key skills and qualities of a Structural/ Civil Engineer are:

•Must be a licensed PE in the State of Florida, or able to be licensed through an existing 
state license in another state.
•Good working knowledge of the structural load path and be able to support design for all 
foundations and load path connections per Florida Building Code.
•Strong working knowledge of ACI 318, ASCE 7, Minimum Design Loads and Associated Criteria 
for Buildings and Other Structures, APA, ASD and LRFD design principles for buildings.
•Strong problem-solving skills.
•Strong oral and written communication skills.
•Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
