JOB DESCRIPTION:


Overview:

We are seeking an experienced sales professional to become an expert on our product 
line, provide technical support at key stages of the sales process, and author formal 
technical proposals to help close new business.

Responsibilities:

Serve as the key technical point of contact for new business opportunities driving 
technical solutions, attending opportunity discussions, and delivering technical 
presentations.
Work with sales team to identify opportunities and placement of our products with new 
and existing customers
Development, preparation, and presentation of technical proposals
Work with sales team to understand customers requirements
Assist in the development of project feasibility evaluations, contract reviews, and 
kick-off meeting materials.
Manage customer demonstrations in the showroom to demonstrate ROI
Update CRM to reflect sales activities
Attend trade shows
Travel up to 15%
Requirements:

Bachelor’s in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science)
Minimum 3 years experience in the wood products industry
Previous sales experience preferred; customer service experience required
Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn our products’ capabilities
Strong interpersonal and communications skills
Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
Excellent listening skills
Strong writing skills – Quotation, contract, and technical specification experience
Self-directed, ability to work independently, high sense of personal accountability, 
and deadline/results-oriented.
