Position Overview: Are you an Information Governance specialist? Would you like to join a team passionate about this space? The Investments and Capital Markets (I&CM) division at the company is currently seeking a Senior Analyst to join our team (first line of defense). **This position is a hybrid work schedule, requiring 3 days in the office and 2 days remote** Our Impact: Govern information risk and execute data governance in the Investments and Capital Markets division Evaluate and assess information risk profile for the division Monitor compliance with Corporate Policies and Standards Your Impact: Work closely with I&CM personnel who are information owners and/or key information consumers Creating and maintaining processes and procedures to follow divisional and enterprise standards related to privacy, information security, information classification, records retention, and data governance Build and maintain an accurate and complete inventory of applications, end user controls, models, data stores, LANs, and SharePoint sites and manage business definitions for critical data Detailing and managing business metadata Actively monitoring 2LOD personnel, and also changes to industry best practices for large financial institutions and identifying needed updates to divisional information risk policies, standards, and procedures Providing input to reporting on information risk important metrics, KCIs, and KRIs Partnering with appropriate groups within I&CM, I&CM BTO and Enterprise functions to develop and implement effective strategies Qualifications: 5-8 years of information risk and data governance experience within the financial services industry Bachelor’s degree in IT, Finance, or related field or an equivalent work experience Experience defining and documenting business processes and information flows including metadata and data lineage Solid understanding of best practices related to information risk management and data governance Experience creating and maintaining operational policies, standards and procedures Ability to develop effective relationships across the firm Keys to Success in this Role: Self-starter with a positive outlook and desire to solve problems Expert knowledge in information risk management and data governance Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail!
