All About our company: We are currently in search of a Mechanical Engineer to join our 
Global Rolled Products Operations business unit in Lancaster, PA.  Our company,

ground transportation, aerospace, industrial, packaging and building and construction

community partner for over 75 years.  At our 1.3 million square-foot plant, we produce 
a variety of products--from painted aluminum sheet to blanked aluminum products. What 
we produce here is found in a wide assortment of end products, such as truck cabs, 
cookware, and construction materials. We also produce brazing sheet used by auto 
manufacturers to make evaporator and condenser components.  Over 400 customers use our 
product for a variety of consumer goods.

Key Responsibilities of Mechanical Engineer:

Provide Engineering support to production, maintenance, and administrative departments 
to achieve plant goals
Coordinate all phases of assigned projects from concept, scope development, written 
specifications, bid solicitations and related bid meetings, equipment and facilities 
engineering/design, manufacturing and installation through final start-up, acceptance, 
and project close-out
Assist production, technical, and maintenance with various types of equipment and 
process issues from an engineering perspective
Ensure safety, environmental, and quality procedures are always followed
Assist other senior mechanical and project engineers with their assigned projects

Qualifications
 
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering
1-2 years required mechanical project engineering experience in heavy manufacturing 
industry, preferably metals’ industry
1-2 years required experience with design of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
1-2 years required experience in project management
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

3-5 years mechanical project engineering experience in heavy manufacturing industry, 
preferably metals’ industry
3-5 years experience with design of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
3-5 years project management experience
