ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Provides engineering expertise to solve problems, improve processes, and implement 
capital projects by developing the project scope, estimating costs, designing, 
constructing, procurement, and installing and/or modifying manufacturing equipment.
Provide operational and maintenance support by solving recurring issues through process 
improvements, reliability, and operational efficiency.
Provides capital project management to the facility by ensuring projects are completed 
in a timely manner and within budget.
Provide operational support through equipment optimization and personnel training. 
Prepares engineering drawings, manuals and other documentation.
Supervises the Maintenance department of 3 technician.
And any duties and responsibility assigned for the department
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Continuous and Batch control systems, PLC, instrumentation, and understanding of AC and 
DC drives.
Strong PC skills with MS Project, Word, Excel and Power Point.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Problem solving, innovation, sense of urgency, customer focus, and the ability to work 
independently with minimal supervision as well as in a team.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor of Science in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
3-5 years of experience from continuous or batch manufacturing in the coatings, 
polymers, chemical or related industry.
Knowledge of as many of the following unit operations as possible: reaction (ideally 
batch), filtration, agitation, solvent handling, and heat exchange (chillers).
Be well versed in fluid pumping characteristics (centrifugal and positive 
displacement), pump and agitator seals, vacuum, heat exchange (chillers), and materials 
of constructions.
