• Duration: 12-month onsite 40 hrs per week ( 5 days M-F ) working assignment, with standard federal holidays off. Anticipated start could be 3 weeks, if background check is complete • Directly Hourly Rate: Depends on Senior Engineer experience, education, and skillset of candidate. Please consider directly rate table for Sr. Engineer (Mechanical). • Relocation Assistance: If necessary, relocation assistance is a possibility due to 12-month long employment. • Education: BS Mechanical. PE preferred but not required. Candidate will work directly with design firms and onsite resident engineers so technical knowledge is important for interaction & resolution. • Field QA for USACE Oversight – Field inspections twice a day ( AM & PM ) minimum, Daily Report due by 4pm each day • Onsite Senior Engineer Position: 10 years plus with significant CM project experience. • Design Experience: Able to review and gather design parameters, charrette reviews, lessons learned • Professional Certifications are a plus related to Commissioning and CM Activities. • USACE RMS - Record Management System (RMS) familiarity is a plus and key to daily activities. • USACE Three Phases of core Construction Quality Management Systems and knowledgeable of EM-385 practices. • OSHA 30 Hr or 10 HR Construction Safety and Health • Administrative tasks such as submittal review, RFI review, shop drawing review, schedule adherence review, change order review, daily walkdowns • Construction tasks such as Chiller Units, Makeup Air Units, Boilers, Pumps, HVAC, I&C Controls, Fire Protection Systems • Commissioning tasks such as review of TAB and Cx documentation, observe and document functional performance testing. • US Citizen which able to pass civil, criminal background checks for Crawford and US Military. Govt background check required for Photo ID security badge access. • Valid Driver’s License – Driver’s License and Auto Insurance are always required • Speaks Clearly and Understood. Public Interface & Meeting on a Weekly Basis • Writes Clear and Legible. Prepares weekly meeting minutes and follow-up on action items.
