Job Description:

The Engineering Project Manager is responsible for planning, negotiating and accomplishing 
goals dealing with zoning and permitting for RaceTrac and RaceWay convenience stores. Up 
to 60% travel required.

Responsibilities:

Provides expert judgment and analysis for the design, development and permitting new 
construction for RaceTrac and RaceWay convenience stores.
Obtains the necessary permits and communicates with local government agencies as needed.
Resolves highly complex technical issues and conducts advanced research.
Understands and recommends alterations to drawings and designs to improve quality and 
efficiency of the end result.
Negotiates with the company’s executive team and city council by understanding the 
building and ownership of the projects.
Selects and manages consultants on design/entitlement teams.
Qualifications:

3 – 5 years experience preferred, previous work experience in the petroleum industry a 
plus
Excellent negotiation, communication, decision-making and public presentation skills
Previous managerial experience preferred
Previous involvement with zoning and permitting with city council preferred
Proficient with MS Office Suite preferred
