Job Description:

The Embedded Engineer will perform electrical and mechanical maintenance in the field of 
automation and warehouse 
system management. 
Responsibilities: 
• Perform mechanical and electrical preventive maintenance on laser-guided vehicles (LGVs) 
at our customer’s 
facility 
• Perform mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs as needed. 
• Manage onsite inventory 
• Complete the necessary paperwork and reports for customers and our main office 
• Ensure optimal performance of E80 Group 80 equipment onsite 
• Attend periodic meetings onsite to develop strategies for improving equipment 
maintenance activities 
• Report to customer and the appropriate E80 Group 80 personnel on the equipment’s 
operational history 
Requirements: 
• Degree in the electrical engineering or electro- mechanical field preferred (mechatronic 
is a plus) 
• Be familiar with some or all of the following: 
✓ Programmable Logic Controllers 
o Siemens S7 
o Allen Bradley : RS-Logix 500/5000 
✓ Fanuc robots  
✓ Ladder logic 
✓ CNC  
✓ Beckhoff & TWINCAT 
✓ Preventative maintenance procedures/practices 
• 2 to 5 years of electro -mechanical experience preferred 
• Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems is required 
• Understanding of hydraulic and electrical schematics is required 
• Experience in the automation and/or material handling industry is preferred 
• Must have good written and oral communication skills and be able to work with a team 
• Must be willing to work overtime as required  
• Must be available for training-related travel for the first 5-6 weeks
